CO2 and Black Carbon NFT’s

June 30, 2022 By

Another first on the Stellar network for FRED Energy with our zero greenwash bonafide CO2 and Black Carbon saving NFT’s.

Each NFT is connected to a distributed Sol-bank and identified by the serial number written to the Stellar blockchain via our FACT token. The NFT’s have a QR code that can be scanned and leads to the transaction proof of when the Sol-bank was registered to a user and written via FACT token.

Sol-bank is a Small Home Solar (SHS) product by Jua Energy and is supplied as a bundle consisting of a LiFePO4 battery pack, LED lamps and a solar panel and replaces the kerosene lamps used by the household.

Common estimates are that for every litre of kerosene burnt, 2.5kg of CO2 are released into the atmosphere. Estimates for Black Carbon are 2.2g per kg/L of kerosene.

Each Sol-bank based on the reported average kerosene use for lighting will save the following;

  • 3 litres of kerosene per month x 12 = 36 L/kg x2.5kg of CO2 is a saving of 90kg of CO2 per year
  • 3 litres per month x 12 = 36 L/kg x2.2g per kg/L is a saving of 79.2g Black Carbon per year

Additionally, there are the health and social benefits not listed above which have a far greater impact on the families benefitting from the project.

You can purchase the NFT’s at litemint. Proceeds are shared between our Social Good Fund and general operations account. The general operations account uses funds to purchase new stock and add liquidity to DEX pools.

The Social Good Fund provides much needed help for struggling families and projects at home and away. It is also used to purchase and donate Sol-banks to those foremost with children and of little income.

Sol-bank NFT’s bring real world utility within voluntary Black Carbon and CO2 provability. Utilising the Stellar blockchain, we write each Sol-bank distributed to the blockchain using our FACT token.

Our voluntary Black Carbon and CO2 NFT’s create social good with holders receiving monthly rewards in SOLS tokens making them even more attractive.
